“we are bad people” - a great name for a pilot episode featuring special guest Jack from Online.

Jack and I had been joking all summer about building a cult following as podcast hosts and here’s your chance to pretend that you’re friends with us and riff irreverently! A podcast is just a friend simulator, to summarize the words of another friend. Hopefully we’ll get to the point at which the viewers start to make inside jokes that only make sense to each other and alienate the wider public <3

Production note: fun fact about this episode, although this was recorded in the lovely WMRE studio space, the audio was taken from a Windows 10 Game Bar screen recording of the live WMRE stream, which might be part of why the quality is so sketchy. Luckily this is the first recorded episode so you have no real standards for my production value so far. It will only go uphill from here, hopefully! Jack sounds pretty good, but I’m weirded out by how shrill I sound. In case the fandom is reading, I haven’t been trying to filter out my use of the word “like” as a filler, but in the words of Halsey, “please don’t be mean to me!”
